I am very excited to be joining the team at the All Nations Healing House. I am a Registered Nurse with almost eleven years of diverse experience. I graduated from Thompson Rivers University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. I started my career at Cariboo Memorial Hospital Emergency Department until 2015. I continued to work in rural Emergency Departments in Alberta until moving back to British Columbia in 2018. We moved to Laxgalts’ap in the Nisga’a Valley where we lived, worked and played for two years and this is where I developed my love for community-based nursing.
Wanting to be closer to family we decided in 2020 to return to our home of Williams Lake where I continued working as a Community Health Nurse both with Esk’etemc Heath and Three Corners Health Service Society. This past year I recently became certified in sexual health and I am very excited to be able to begin offering Pap tests for those who have been struggling to obtain one due to the current healthcare shortages.
For our family adventures you will often catch me outside working on our little hobby farm or out camping, kayaking and hunting with my family of four.
